first off I love ebay. i buy alot fo stuff on it and have sold quite a bit. last item i sold was still sitting at the house, so i emailed the winner AGAIN! he responded with some major changes in his life and would not be able to purchase...it was $15. But whatever, you got problems you got problems. i went to leave negative feedback and found out I couldnt. you can no longer leave negative feedback without going thru ebay and they investigate.

I called ebay and told the young man that I have an email from the buyer stating he wast going to buy. Young man said they will have to go thru steps and make sure he cat pay and then we can post negative feedback. What is this? Is ebay run by the fucking government now, what was simple and easy is not difficult. ok WTF ever!!!

well the day after I get on there and relist the item and add another item for sale. I went down to where options to accept payment where and it was forcing me to use paypal which is owned by ebay. i dont have a paypal account, i used to, they fucked me. i hate paypal. without choosing this option you cant list your item.

is ebay digging its own grave? you start pissing off sellers they will leave and in numbers. this is typical of a company that gets so damn large there has to be an end.

I don't trust E Bay and PayPal.

Several years ago, out of curiosity I looked over the E Bay site. I didn't order anything or leave any identification.

Within an hour or two I was getting repeated E-mails urging me to join PayPal.

No thanks, to both PayPal and E Bay.

Signage,

I have dropped off many, many items at the ebay store on Carter Hill. I like the convenience and will happily pay his user fee. Once you drop it off, that's it. You just wait for your check in the mail. And yes, it does come! He will email you and keep you informed or of course you can go online and watch your items for yourself. His website looks very professional and he displays your items nicely. He takes care of shipping and handeling too. It is very easy and no worries.

I've passed that store many times and wondered how it works. Thanks for explaining it!

Is there some sort of minimum price for anything to be sold?
And what is their website?

Here ya go Jay...http://www.dropitoffauction.net/#

You can set a minimum for the price. But with a consignment, if they don't meet the minimum you will have to pay a fee. That was okay with me b/c most items the fee is less than you would take a loss on.

I feel you on this, Signage. Sort of the same thing happened to me, but in reverse. I purchased an item, and after 3 weeks, still no sign of it. I GENTLY reminded the dude via email, but I got no response. On the 30th day after Paypal cleared, I finally got it. I wanted to leave negative feedback, too. Denied. So, now I just go to the fleamarket. Kidding. But, I won't use EBAY anymore.

My guess would be that users were getting bombarded by inaccurate negative feedback, so eBay had to crack down to weed out people who were bitching for the sake of bitching. Kinda similar to how these days it's so difficult to return an item to a retail store. Because of so many fraudulent returns over the years, stores had to crack down on such, so now people with serious, legit returns have to jump through proverbial hoops of fire.

have been giving "positive" feedback, because they have to, HOWEVER, scroll down on people's feedback, and you will see that some of the "positive" feedback is actually NEGATIVE lol....SO DON'T GET SCREWED...look up the people before you purchase from them, or sell TO them. I had someone who tried to scam me, about a purchase they made, and I went and did research on them, and found out that they had TONS OF NEGATIVE feedback, under the positive. I sent them an email with all the negative comments I had about them, and said, "look, you have lots of negative vibes here, and I have 100 percent positive."...I haven't heard back from them again LOL...I gladly told them I would refund a purchase they made if they sent me back the EXACT item, and they were going to send me something that was NOT what I sent.

Awhile back, someone on ebay was selling "the stick"

They claimed it was "the stick" that ebay shoved up the asses of the sellers.

The question/answer section was hilarious.

The guy told people to bid whatever they wanted, and if they didn't pay he would be foreced to leave them 'positive' feedback.
