| I know that when Susan Parker and I duked it out in 2006, for state PSC, it was name recognition (Susan Parker) vs. "I accept no Pac funding" (Debbie Murphree). The money won out LOL...I learned the hard way, that you have to take ALL the funding you can get. No, I wouldn't take funding that had had funneled donations from regulated utilities. However, ....my opponent, ....Susan Parker, did.

| She and I were in the Primary election. She won by a landslide, but still, for a first time state runner, with no pac funding, and no newspaper endorsements, I still did pretty good, with 89,000 plus votes.
