So we have a deficit and they have a surplus. So why can't they pay for all this crap? |
Been trying to figure this one out also. They have 80 billion, and we are in the red, can someone explain this to me?

Haha. Nice try. Even Alan Greenspan said awhile back that oil was a major factor.
To say it hasn't been about oil is a lie that even the Republicans can't say with a straight face anymore.

"See, I told you so"..... Right on queue VoR..... When Greenspan said oil was a major factor, he was refering to the oil we get from the middle east, not Iraq..... But it was a nice try anyway....
How come you're not in Sturgis?????

I forgot how Iraq got all pissed off and moved out of the Middle East neighborhood. My bad.
Geez, Whata. To act like this war had nothing to do with oil and was all about some feel-good "hey look, we're getting rid of an evil dictator and bringing freedom to people" is pure lunacy and you know it.

All you libs started out chanting how this war was all about getting Iraq's oil.... We both know that was BS. Once you figured that out, all the dems made a slight modification to that by saying it was about oil in general. That is only a half assed truth. There were more than a dozen reasons for this war and one of the reasons was to stablize the middle east. You can say "is this what you call stable?" but compared to the 20 years before this war, it is pretty stable. Whether you admit it or not, Saddam was a threat to all the countries around him and that was a threat to a lot of oil the rest of the world uses.
I can give 4 or 5 good reasons to be there and it won't make one iota of difference to any of you libs. You have made up your minds and there is nothing anyone can do to change them..... Believe what you want, history will be written no matter what you think......

| You can hide from the threat in the middle east and pretend it doesn't exist all you want..... If we pull all the troops out of Iraq and move them to Afghanistan, where is all the money again we will save.....? And once there, do you plan on invading Pakistan to get the terrorists..... They do have nukes, I hope that goes well..... Where are all these great plans for getting the taliban and what kind of timetable for pulling out of Afghanistan are we looking at.....???? You libs want all the answers, yet you have none of your own.......
