I like my white wines sweet so I like the Mosel wines from Germany. When I drink red wine my favorite is fresh wine from small winerys around Naples or from Sicily, they are bold and heavy. You can also get them in bulk by taking your 20 liter bottles and having them filled at the winery for a few dollars..... Since it is red you can leave it on you balcony and take out however much you need..... Very Happy

The travel from central europe is very easy and short. When we were in Trier, we could drive to France, Belgium, Luxembourgh or the Netherlands in 2 hours or less. From southern Germany we were still 2 hours or less from Switzerland, Austria, France and could get to northern Italy in 3 hours. Where we crossed Switzerland, it was less than 100 miles wide.

However, once you go down the boot to Naples, it's 2 hours south of Rome and a long way back to the north. At least 14 hours to the German border. On the other hand, if you run out of things to see and do in Italy, you'll have had to live there for several decades...... Cool

Name it "Cat."

C'mon VoR, where is your bisexual side....? You should always give your cat a proper, luxurious name in case you ever have a gay friend drop by..... Embarassed You can call it anything you want..... Rolling Eyes

For instance, here are my dogs names: (they are all German Shepards)

Olex von Blauen Modenseer - this one was called "old dog"
Oxie vonder Kine - this one was "baby girl"
Eddy von Feuer Bodensee - this one is "weasel"
Heizer vom Haus Brewer - I'm still settling on one, but most often he gets called "asshole".

We used to have labs. Their registered names were:

Southern Cross Bow
Daisey May Daisey May Not

My baby was doing great. We finally gave him a name Saturday. The kids wanted to name him lucky b/c we saved him, but I wasn't exactly stuck on that one. Then early Saturday morning in my half drunken stupor I stepped on him. I thought he was about to die and I cried and screamed and I nursed him back to health. 3 days later he was stalking his own shadow and back up to speed. I've obviously developed a major attachment to this cat. Anyway, after having my fat ass step on him and him live through it, I felt his name should be Unlucky. I have custody of my niece, but she's a know it all. I told her every time she'd ask that the kitty could not go outside. He was just too small to fend for himself. Today we had a sitter who did not realize she had taken my kitten outside to jump on the trampoline. My kitty now has shaken kitty/baby syndrome. He's convulsing and getting much weaker. He's about to die.
